Hey! So Glad You're Here. Here is a little about us:
My husband and I met and fell in love at a small Christian college in southern Michigan in 2012. We knew early on in our marriage that we wanted to build a life together that echoed Christ's words in Deuteronomy 6:5-9; "5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

We often say that I am the gas pedal, and he is the brake. He is steady and constant, I am the restless dreamer. Together, our strengths build on each others weaknesses.

While his strengths are being utilized outside the home in his career as an Occupational Therapist, mine are being born inside the home as I step into the role of home teacher.

While homeschooling is not for everyone, we feel deeply passionate about it.

We currently have a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and a 5 month old.

This blog is meant to be the safe holder of all my excited ramblings as we venture forward. Here's to the adventure ahead!
