The Mud Pit

This mud pit deserves it's own blog post.

This area used to be a beautiful oversized flower bed, but when we moved in, we quickly realized it was not practical for our family (hint: BOYS).

We dug up all the plants, threw in some goodwill pots, pans, and utensils... and now we have the best entertainment possible. Literally hours every day are spent out there.

We have friends over often, and all ages quickly get lost in the magic of the mud. We have seen gourmet food, rivers, canals, restaurants, race tracks, excavation sites, etc made here.

Sensory play is the best kid of play.

Let them get messy, let them create, let them be kids!
